Sorano is an ancient jewel, the last among the villages of Tuscany to still express an original and non-touristic character. Ancient homes perched on the tuffaceous boulders like a house of cards, still partly marked by the erosion of time, but representing the history and popular traditions of the area. We can only advise you to go and get lost in the alleys of the Borgo, get to know its simple people, understand their origins and characters, experience the slow rhythms of a place that still seems attached to the past.
